Swing it!!! is a party in Vienna founded by Tony Maroni & Cab Canavaral. The venue where everything began was quite small but from the first event Cab and Tony invited international djs from all over the world. It's nice to know eachother by social media and the web but it's better to get in personal touch! The idea was born to feature the tracks of the DJs who have performed (or will perform one day) at Swing it!!! on a compilation. Tony and Cab are very well connected to the Electroswing Scene so the selection got bigger and bigger - and here it is!
This is a huge collection of 26 Tracks from all over the world! Electroswing is a genre with a great diversity. The producers are coming from different corners of the musical universe like, Techno, House, Minimal, Funk, Hip Hop, Drum&Bass, Dub – just to name a few. But all of them feel a special love for Swing! The tracks were selected by Cab Canavaral and Tony Maroni. Apart of the big names like Bart & Baker, Skeewiff, Grant Lazlo and [dunkelbunt] who are already well known in the scene, there are many brilliant tracks to discover, you might have never heard before. Many of them haven’t been released yet. We are happy to make them available for download worldwide.
released 11 October 2013
Thanks to all artists who contribute to this compilation and all the labels for collaboration!
special thanks to Yossi and Ron aka SEGMENT for mastering the unmastered tracks!
